A Book, a Symposium, and a Triathelon
On the 24th I presented a Wealth Symposium titled “The Keys to an Abundant Life” with Darron Miller. It was a great experience as the whole Curriculum for Wealth series always is. One special moment for me during the day was when the first copy of my book (Killing Sacred Cows) was delivered to me in front of the group. I immediately started to smile and then felt a very humbling feeling. At that point I read the Challenge to the Reader found in the beginning of the book outloud to the group. It was relevant to the content and purpose of the symposium that day and was refreshing after a week checkered with challenges.
This was also the first symposium with videocast and webinar participants. This is exciting as it allows us to extend our reach across the world to deliver the message of Soul Purpose and principles.
On another note, immediately after the symposium I picked up my road bike from the shop and headed to Jordanelle to register for my olympic triathelon. This triathelon was actually much more difficult than the sprint version, but I was able to complete it on Saturday. I was very strong on the swim and pretty strong on the bike, but the run was difficult. Fortunately, I was able to use the knowledge learned in all the programs I am involved with to prevail.
This week is exciting as I am working on a system to deliver values based estate planning and a family bank for those that want to leave more than just money behind to their heirs. I am also working on creating a trust company to manage money in the event of death. Jason Byrne and Billy Bush will be meeting with Andrew Howell and I to create a system for effective delivery of these important processes. Jason and Billy run a company called the Business Blueprint and I use their services monthly (at a minimum).
