An Adventure of a Meeting

Ron Zeller and I met at his house in Sundance yesterday. It wasn’t long before we were hiking up above the waterfall. This was a great way to have a conversation and get a workout at the same time. The weather was perfect and the view tremendous. Surrounded by nature and an inner sense of peace, there is clarity and creation in such a space.

On our hike I was explaining to Ron, my business partner in Mental FastTrack, the different branches of my business. Really there is the Freedom FastTrack, The Accredited Network, and The Producer Power Hour. Now within those companies are several divisions and subsidiaries.

In the The Accredited Network I have ownership in several companies and revenue agreements with others. Freedom FastTrack has Financial, Spiritual, Mental, Physical and Social tracks. Producer Power Hour has content creation like books, videos, newsletters and various products. When it comes down to it, I have around 30 LLC’s or S-Corps, but all aligned with one purpose- empowering people with education in principles and helping them recognize potential so they can turn it into production.

With radio, speaking, and products, I am able to reach a large number of people and my intention is to create value in a massive way that leads to transformation. For those that I never meet, I want to give enough quality through products and broadcasts that a difference can be made, but if they go through any of the programs the goal is a transformational experience.

There is several ways to reach people and make a difference, but what I realize is that on the right platform you can attract the right people and impact millions. I am in the business of creating opportunity for individuals that work with me. The growth is rapid with this philosophy and the vision of individuals, families, communities and nations understanding and following principles of abundance allowing them to live the greatest life imaginable- namely happiness through spiritual and material prosperity.

Expanding the Marketplace

I must say that it feels good to hold the book in my hand. More importantly is to get the book in the hands of those that are buying into the myths and therefore are limiting the value they can create and the happiness they can have. Today I am going to be in a mastermind session with The Accredited Network executives and the Business FastTrack. We will discuss how to capitalize on the opportunities that are all around and how to reach the most people possible.

These are always powerful days because it is not about transactions or low leverage; it is about vision. To create the direction and structure to produce. First, we will identify any liabilities we are facing or could potentially face. This is critical to identify breakdowns now and that could happen in the future. These liabilities become opportunities when addressed.

Next we will assess our assets. This is also a great way to see where we have underutilized or undercapitalized opportunity. Both the liabilities that are addressed and the assets that are recognized become resources for production. Once the resources are discovered we will identify which to move on. This may require additional expenses, but it is critical to understand how it will provide income that is greater than the expense. This is addressed by action.

Well, today will be about reaching more people. It is exciting with all of the opportunities around, but we must turn those opportunities into production. People are assets, so the book will only be as valuable as people reading it and having paradigm shifts leading to action.

Relationships and Rumors

The interesting thing about all relationships is that they are both an asset and a liability. Parents understand this for sure. If their kids do anything like steal or break something that is the property of someone else, the parent now has that liability to deal with. The same goes for a business. As an owner of a business I participate in both the triumphs and value creation of others in the firm, but also with the issues that harm the goodwill of the firm or are destructive in any manner.

Just as I do not condone gambling (or what many call investing), I do not condone speculation or what I would call gossip in my organization. When there is complaining or blaming, it is from a scarcity mentality and is focused on the past and not producing in the present or preparing for opportunity in the future. It seems that fear is the number one reason for rumors and the survival of those rumors. Even if there is any truth to what people may be saying, my question is “is it productive”?

One of the best ways for me to overcome the human tendency to create stories based upon perspective (versus what actually happened) is to ask the question “what would I do and what would I want if I were in their shoes”? Now, the “their” I am talking about has to do with anyone we are wanting to talk about in a non-positive way. I know that it takes courage, but why not go to the source? Most people are mostly concerned with being right even if it means villainizing another.

So why do I talk about this in my post? Well…we always talk about people being assets, but every asset has a liability. Is there ever a time where increasing the liability without increasing assets or bottom-line increasing productivity makes sense? In the context of relationships I don’t believe so. It may make sense to address a liability and decide the asset isn’t worth it that is attached to the liability, but in this case one would reduce the liability by addressing it.

A rumor destroys the human life value of those who perpetuate it. If it is in fact a rumor, it also deceptively destroys he human life value of those that it is about. Being on the radio, I have had plenty of rumors about me. It is interesting the conspiracy theories that people come up with. And for what? Mostly to feel important or to justify or to be a means to express fear. Really, I know that it has become part of the social agreement in our world to gossip, but there is no production in it. It is a beast of consumption.

This is a serious post, but I want to be authentic each day with what is on my mind. I have plenty to be grateful for and could list those things today, but my mission this week especially is to address and stop any gossip in my businesses and relationships. This will be done with the very technology that is taught in the Mental FastTrack.

One thing is for sure, the more relationships and stewardship, the more critical it is to have proper structure, policy, and communication to address issues. The very nature of stewardship is that the more of a steward you are, the more resistance that will be present because of the consumer condition that is threatened.

I ask you to consider finding any relationships that drain your energy, create negativity or scarcity, or most importantly that you have neglected and get into powerful communication. Energy is one of our most precious resources. If people you know are going to be assets, are there any that have liabilities that you can address and protect your energy and human life value?

A Great Day

I was able to meet with Phil Tirone, Roberto Monaco, and Woody Woodward yesterday. These are all individuals that are leading figures in their industry.

Phil created 7 steps to 720 and is now licensing his program to other advisors. He is part of our Accredited Network. We spent a few hours brainstorming on how to help the mortgage industry because there are many brokers that are going broke. It is very difficult to fund loans right now and so many loan people are very good salespeople but not necessarily experts on how to deal with funding issues right now. Phil and I also looked for opportunities where we could create value for each other and capitalize on opportunities. This led to connecting each other with relationships we each have that could be valuable to each other. We talked about how we expand our reach with our unique processes as well.

Roberto Monaco is a speaking coach for both Phil and I. He is coaching many of the people speaking at the Millionaire Mortgage Planner Seminar. This is an event held in Hollywood at the Kodak Theater, and I am attending portions of it as well since I am speaking at an event put on by the same company next month in San Diego. Roberto is a true value creator that has helped me to communicate and influence more effectively from the front of the room. I am talking to him about being a formal part of the training for Freedom FastTrack licensees.

Woody Woodward, creator of Law of Importance, is someone that is just fun to be around. We were able to create an amazing program called “How we really did it”. It is where we talk about the steps and most intimate details of how we created businesses or accomplished something. That was just part of the conversation as well. He is going to be part of the Social FastTrack when it is launched in a few years. Woody and I were also able to go watch Jay Leno live at the Kodak theater to add some more entertainment to our time together.

I really enjoy the days where I am able to brainstorm with high level people. Just developing relationships with producers is always valuable to me. There really was no agenda, but plenty of production.

The FastTrack of My Business

Today Jason Byrne is flying in from Boulder, CO to facilitate a two day retreat for four of my companies. This is where time is dedicated to focus on the mission of the firm by enhancing the experience for the client and the processes so each member of the firm can work more in their Soul Purpose. This is something that I am in the practice of doing at least once a month, but most of the time more frequent than that. It is fun to brainstorm, address any liabilities of the firm, engage the key players for operations, and then to capitalize on opportunities.

By the end of the day we create specific accountabilities and deadlines. The type of organization that comes about provides more production capability with each person gaining clarity, confidence and excitement.

To live Soul Purpose, each person identifies the five things that give them the most energy in business (something they actually gain energy from and could do all day long), plus the three opportunities they are most excited about. Next we address what we would like to know and accomplish by the end of the day. Everyone participates in this. Once that is complete, we go through the Production Continuum for the business (a model exclusive to the FastTrack). Here we identify assets, liabilities, and by doing this we recognize opportunties. When the opportunities are identified, then there is a measurement tool for production.

Well, there is some insight, it will be an exciting, energy filled two days.

A Producer Gathering

On August 3rd we are going to have our quarterly Accredited Network event. I am excited for the 11 different experts that are presenting. From 9-3 we will hear from an expert advisor in the Accredited Network every half an hour. These are some of the people that will be featured in the Economics of Soul Purpose book coming out later this year.

I always look forward to these events and this one is on my mind because Wednesdays I focus on the members of the Accredited Network and talk to so many of them. There is a great line-up on the Friday radio shows on Freedom FastTrack radio for the next several months. I encourage everyone to listen to the people that dedicate their life to being the foremost experts in their field.

We also have the pleasure of Roberto Monoco coming in to present from 3-7. He is a renown speaker and coach that is going to speak about influence. Last Accredited Network we had Ron Zeller as the guest speaker and I plan on bringing in an incredible person each time.

Well…this is what is on my mind this morning-be a producer.

Raising the Standard

I have chosen to raise my personal criteria and standard on a tool called the Risk Transformtion and Value Proposition Worksheet. This is a tool I created after some losing investments as I analyzed where I violated principle and how I could learn from it and transform those investments into something profitable. Recently I realized that most real estate that I have been involved in is not in line with my Soul Purpose. I had always believed in being productive in my businesses and storing that wealth in real estate for potential cash flow, appreciation and tax advantages. Now I am realizing that the real estate I want to own must elevate and utilize my human life value directly.

Shon Wilson, an accomplished contractor, developer, and really my personal friend, has just committed to be President of Gunderson Management. This is my real estate holding company. He is going to liquidate the properties that have any negative cash flow, regardless of tax advantage or potential appreciation. I know have a much better tax strategy than real estate- primarily make more money which is the best tax shelter in the world and also to utilize donations in a principled manner. Shon is now using his Soul Purpose to assist me and allow me to focus more fully on my Soul Purpose. This allows me to be a better steward over my real estate resources through his expertise and reporting system. This is no small task considering that I have over 100 properties.

I am not getting rid of all of my real estate though. For those of you that have been to the Engenuity and Freedom FastTrack building, this is fully engaging my passion and I have aspects that I can directly contribute to. As I mentioned in an earlier BLOG, I have also started a Foundations Insurance building in American Fork, Utah.

Shon can analyze numbers, create productive strategies, and take impossible projects to profit.

A Good Practice

Taking the principle that people are assets and putting it into motion exists in a few different ways for me. One of the best practices I have lately is to talk with Ron Zeller, partner in Mental FastTrack, and Steve D’Annunzio, partner in Spiritual FastTrack, on a daily basis. I speak with Steve at 5:30 am and Ron at 5:30 pm. Being in constant communication is the best way for me to insure a productive relationship.

With Ron we can review what is happening in the company, see what is happening in each others lives, and commit to and support impossible games. Steve and I are able to do much of the same, but we especially create favorable conditions to refine and create content.

Another productive practice in relationships is to have direct conversations with anyone where there is a lack of clarity, potential frustration, or especially energy leaks. What I mean by energy leaks is when you think of someone and it doesn’t provide a good feeling or brings up a less than ideal memory in your mind. I have that with a few people and I am committed to being in communication with them this week. What I realize is that there was a reason in the past why we formed a relationship, plus they have a Soul Purpose and many amazing abilities, but it is critical to clear up any potential negativity to be able to fully recognize the best attributes in a person.

There is one thing that I want to make clear though, I will never intentionally sacrifice principle for any individual. This means that I don’t have fear to do what is right, even if it may create a situation where someone I know would prefer that I just do or say nothing. This happens in business quite a bit with investment recommendations that people are looking for or programs that they want my opinion on. I figure if they have to ask me if it is a good investment or idea- it probably isn’t a good investment or idea for them (yet). Our Human Life Value is what is critical in any situation, not just the situation itself. So this applies to investing- it is not about the investment, it is about the investor.

Just some thoughts on principle and perspective.

Production and People

Mondays are just those days where there is great opportunity for conversation and clarity. I was able to meet with about 15 people individually and another 20 people in board meetings. This allows for me to brainstorm, create direction, and be clear about what the vision and mission are and how to implement. Mondays I am able to spend time with those who run the companies that I am involved in. Any way or anytime I can empower them, the more productive they become and the happier I am. The team and people around me are just amazing. I love to spend time with them and to work on making a difference for anyone we come in contact with.

It is through these relationships that I am able to live my Soul Purpose and accomplish so much more- in a really fun way. Monday is about direction. With that direction and people in the right mindset, there is so much that can be accomplished in a powerful way.

Anything is possible if you don’t have to do it alone!!!!!

Energized and Charged

I love Mondays. When working in Soul Purpose it is a day that I look forward to where I know so many people dread it. Really to be happy it takes giving up those things you hate and commitment to the Producer Power Hour. I started my day with a 18 mile bike and 1 mile swim. Then I listened to Garrett White philosophize on my ipod to engage the mental realm. Next I sent a card to one of my business partners for the social. I am going to complete the spiritual soon and this Blog is what I consider the financial aspect of the Power Hour.

In a moment I will go and do the radio show with Kim Butler. Then I am excited to address Engenuity Salt Lake in the Board of Directors meeting and then The Accredited Network meeting. Well….I will continue this post tonight focusing on People are Assets and talking about why I am so excited for the day.
