The FastTrack of My Business
Today Jason Byrne is flying in from Boulder, CO to facilitate a two day retreat for four of my companies. This is where time is dedicated to focus on the mission of the firm by enhancing the experience for the client and the processes so each member of the firm can work more in their Soul Purpose. This is something that I am in the practice of doing at least once a month, but most of the time more frequent than that. It is fun to brainstorm, address any liabilities of the firm, engage the key players for operations, and then to capitalize on opportunities.
By the end of the day we create specific accountabilities and deadlines. The type of organization that comes about provides more production capability with each person gaining clarity, confidence and excitement.
To live Soul Purpose, each person identifies the five things that give them the most energy in business (something they actually gain energy from and could do all day long), plus the three opportunities they are most excited about. Next we address what we would like to know and accomplish by the end of the day. Everyone participates in this. Once that is complete, we go through the Production Continuum for the business (a model exclusive to the FastTrack). Here we identify assets, liabilities, and by doing this we recognize opportunties. When the opportunities are identified, then there is a measurement tool for production.
Well, there is some insight, it will be an exciting, energy filled two days.
